What Happens During an Ultraformer MPT Session? Complete Step by Step

Step 1: Arrival and Reception (10 min)

You arrive at the clinic in El Poblado. The receptionist welcomes you and offers water or tea. We complete or update the medical history if necessary. We provide standard photographic consent if not already done.

Step 2: Medical Evaluation (10-15 min)

Dr. Olga González receives you in private consultation. We:

• Review your medical history and goals.
• Examine the area to treat (palpation, evaluation of sagging level).
• Take pre-treatment photographs (standardized: front, profile, 45°).
• Mark the area with surgical pencil to plan shot distribution.

This is the central moment of the procedure. The doctor applies the device cartridges in a specific order:

2. 3.0mm cartridge: deep dermis, throughout the area.
3. 1.5mm cartridge: superficial dermis for textural quality.

What you'll feel:

• Punctate sensation of intense heat with each shot (less than 1 second).
• Vibration sensation reaching the bone in some areas.
• The doctor talks to you constantly to verify your tolerance.
• Brief breaks if needed.

Total time depends on areas:

• 1 facial zone: 45-60 min
• 2 facial zones: 75-90 min
• Full face + neck: 90-100 min
• Body (abdomen, arms, etc): 60-90 min depending on area

Step 6: Cooling and Post-Care (10 min)

• Cold compresses on treated areas (5-10 min).
• Application of soothing serum (hyaluronic acid + panthenol).
• Application of mineral sunscreen SPF 50+.
• Photographic documentation immediately post (changes from now visible).

Step 7: Indications and Exit (10 min)

Before leaving, we give you:
